With a PREN of ≈ 66 — higher than C-276 — C-22 keeps cup tips and pin heads clean, non-sticking and contamination-free where D2 and 440C tooling pits and builds up powder films within days. Vertex Alloy supplies solution-annealed C-22 ground bars from 2 to 120 mm (including 2–12 mm tamping pin grinding stock, h7/h8) to ASTM B574 with EN 10204 3.1 certificates, plus custom-machined finished upper punches and tamp pins per drawing for all major press and encapsulator brands (Fette, Korsch, Bosch GKF, IMA, MG2 and more).
