概述

AISI 431 is a martensitic stainless steel plate containing 15–17% chromium and 1.25–2.50% nickel. It is a heat-treatable (hardened and tempered) stainless steel that offers an excellent combination of high strength, good hardness, moderate corrosion resistance, and superior toughness — notably better toughness than other martensitic grades like 410 and 420, thanks to its nickel addition.
