ภาพรวม

HASTELLOY Alloy 6-3 (UNS N06985) is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-copper superalloy containing Ni bal, Cr 22, Fe 19.5, Mo 7, Cu 1.9, and Co 5 max, designed for exceptional resistance to sulfuric acid and oxidizing chloride environments. The higher molybdenum content (7) and copper addition (1.9) compared to HASTELLOY 6 provide improved resistance to reducing acids, while the controlled cobalt content enhances structural stability. The alloy is widely used in chemical process equipment for handling sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid mixtures, and other aggressive media.

คำอธิบาย (อังกฤษ)

HASTELLOY Alloy 6-3 is supplied in the sheet solution heat-treated condition, delivering yield strength of 324 MPa, tensile strength of 690 MPa, elongation of 50%, and hardness of HRB 79. The alloy is manufactured to multiple ASTM standards covering sheet/plate/strip (B 582), rod (B 581), pipe and tube (B 619, B 622, B 626), and fittings (B 366). The good ductility (50%) combined with high chromium and molybdenum content makes the alloy suitable for welded fabrications in the chemical process industry. HASTELLOY 6-3 is widely used in chemical processing, fertilizer production, and marine applications.
