NIMONIC Alloy 75 is a solid-solution strengthened nickel-chromium superalloy containing Ni 77.4 and Cr 20.5 with minor additions of Al, Ti, Fe, and C. The alloy provides excellent oxidation resistance and good mechanical properties at elevated temperatures, with the highest ductility among the NIMONIC series. NIMONIC 75 is widely used for sheet metal fabrication, furnace components, and heat treatment equipment where moderate high-temperature strength and superior formability are required. It is the foundational grade of the NIMONIC family, offering a balance of corrosion resistance, fabricability, and thermal stability.

NIMONIC Alloy 75 is supplied in bar hot rolled annealed condition, delivering yield strength of 351 MPa, tensile strength of 800 MPa, elongation of 44%, and hardness of HRB 87. The alloy maintains its mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for components in industrial heating, chemical processing, and aerospace auxiliary systems. The high chromium content (Cr 20.5) provides excellent resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, and carburization in high-temperature environments. The alloy is readily fabricated by hot and cold working and can be welded using standard techniques.
