Descripción General

Invar 36 (UNS K93600 / ASTM F1684) forge blank is a billet or bloom forged from 36% nickel-iron alloy, engineered for applications demanding extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) over a broad temperature range. Forge blanks serve as feedstock for machining precision components such as gauge blocks, standards, optical housings, and instrumentation bases. Forging refines ingot structure, improves homogeneity, and provides uniform mechanical properties in the finished blank.
