Descripción General
AISI 431 is a martensitic stainless steel round bar product characterized by its ability to be heat-treated to high hardness and strength levels. Containing both chromium and nickel, it offers a superior combination of toughness, corrosion resistance, and mechanical properties compared to other martensitic grades such as 410 and 420. It is widely used for shafts, fasteners, and components requiring high strength with moderate corrosion resistance.
