Overview
Titanium Grade 2 (Commercially Pure Titanium, CP Ti Gr.2) is the most widely used unalloyed titanium product for pipe and tube applications. It offers an excellent balance of moderate strength, exceptional corrosion resistance, excellent formability, and outstanding biocompatibility. With a minimum purity of 99.0% titanium, it is immune to corrosion in virtually all chloride-bearing aqueous environments, including seawater at all temperatures and velocities, and is the go-to choice for heat exchangers, desalination plants, chemical processing, and marine piping.
