Alloy SteelBar/Rod

Description (English)
Q1: What is Tinel Alloy A? Tinel Alloy A is a nickel-base anti-galling cast alloy with the nominal chemistry Ni balance / Cr 12.5 / Mo 3.0 / Bi 4.0 / Sn 4.0 / Fe 5.0 / Mn 0.8. The bismuth and tin additions form self-lubricating phases in the microstructure, so parts slide repeatedly against other hard metals without liquid lubrication and without galling or seizing. It belongs to the same alloy family as ASTM A494 Grade CY5SnBiM (UNS N26055), commonly traded as Waukesha 88 or Alloy 88.
