Description (English)
Shanghai Vertex Alloy Co., Ltd (Vertex Alloy) supplies SAE 1008 steel tube (AISI 1008 / UNS G10080, similar to Chinese GB 08 steel). SAE 1008 is an extra-low-carbon steel (≤ 0.10% C, 0.30–0.50% Mn per SAE J403) with outstanding weldability and superior cold formability, supplied as ERW round, square and rectangular mechanical tubing to ASTM A513. Available OD 6–219 mm with wall 0.5–10 mm in as-welded, cold drawn or annealed condition, in fixed lengths of 3–12 m with cut-to-length service and EN 10204 3.1 certificates.
