Overview
N08825 (Alloy 825 / Incoloy 825 / EN 2.4858) is the industry-standard nickel-iron-chromium alloy for acid corrosion service. Titanium stabilization prevents intergranular corrosion after welding; molybdenum and copper provide exceptional resistance to reducing acids such as sulfuric and phosphoric acid; 21% chromium protects against oxidizing media; and 3% molybdenum resists pitting and crevice attack in chlorides. Compared with stainless steels, 825 is virtually immune to chloride stress corrosion cracking and is qualified for sour service under NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3. Shanghai Vertex Alloy Co., Ltd supplies N08825 seamless tube (ASTM B163/B423) and welded tube (ASTM B704/B705) from 6 to 114 mm OD with EN 10204 3.1 certificates. Description (English)
Shanghai Vertex Alloy Co., Ltd (Vertex Alloy) supplies N08825 nickel alloy tube (Incoloy 825 / UNS N08825 / EN 2.4858 NiCr21Mo, similar to Chinese GB NS142). Alloy 825 is a titanium-stabilized nickel-iron-chromium alloy with molybdenum and copper additions, offering outstanding corrosion resistance in both reducing and oxidizing environments — excellent in sulfuric and phosphoric acids, and highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. Material complies with NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156-3 for sour (H₂S) oil & gas service. Seamless tubes to ASTM B163/B423 and welded tubes to ASTM B704/B705, OD 6–114 mm, supplied annealed with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates. Non-standard sizes, custom lengths and cut-to-length are available. Contact us for the latest stock and pricing.
