Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022 / DIN 2.4602) is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W nickel superalloy with the best all-round corrosion resistance of any nickel alloy — PREN ≈ 66, superior to C-276. Higher chromium and lower carbon than C-276 give C-22 outstanding performance in both oxidizing and reducing media, with excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. As a specialized C22 round bar supplier, Vertex Alloy provides solution-annealed ground round bars from 5 to 250 mm to ASTM B574 with EN 10204 3.1 certificates, plus custom-machined parts per drawing. Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022, DIN 2.4602) is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W solid-solution strengthened nickel superalloy offering the best all-round corrosion resistance of any nickel alloy. With higher chromium (20–22.5%) and lower carbon (≤ 0.015%) than C-276, C-22 excels in both oxidizing and reducing environments, resisting pitting (PREN ≈ 66), crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. Vertex Alloy supplies C-22 solution-annealed ground round bars from 5 to 250 mm to ASTM B574 with EN 10204 3.1 certificates, plus custom-machined parts per drawing. Non-magnetic, excellent weldability (no PWHT required), outstanding impact toughness at cryogenic temperatures. Widely used in chemical processing, pharmaceutical tooling, FGD scrubbers, marine, nuclear waste storage and petrochemical sour gas service.
