Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022, DIN 2.4602) is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W superalloy widely specified as the premium material for tablet press lower punches handling corrosive pharmaceutical formulations such as potassium chloride, effervescents and acidic or hygroscopic powders.
