A4032 (AA 4032 / UNS A94032 / EN AW-4032, AlSi12CuNiMg) is the industry-standard forged piston aluminum alloy. Its ~12% silicon content gives low thermal expansion, outstanding ring-groove wear resistance and stable strength at 250–300°C — the reason virtually all high-performance and turbocharged forged pistons are made from 4032-T6. Shanghai Vertex Alloy Co., Ltd (Vertex Alloy) supplies A4032 aluminum alloy round bar (AA 4032 / UNS A94032 / EN AW-4032 AlSi12CuNiMg, similar to Chinese GB 4A11). 4032 is the classic forged piston alloy: 11.0–13.5% silicon delivers low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance and stable strength at 250–300°C, making it the standard choice for high-performance and turbocharged engine pistons, racing motorcycle pistons and air-conditioning compressor swash plates. Supplied in T6 temper, Ø 8–250 mm, to ASTM B211 with EN 10204 3.1 certificates. Forged blanks and finished machined piston parts per drawing are also available.
