7075 aluminum plate is a high-strength Al-Zn-Mg-Cu alloy, one of the strongest commercial aluminum alloys available. Primarily used in aerospace, military, and high-stress applications. T651 temper offers stress-relieved properties with excellent dimensional stability and machinability.

FAQ Q:Difference between 7075-T6 and T651? A:T651 is stress-relieved by stretching after solution heat treatment, providing better dimensional stability. T6 has no stress relief, prone to warping during machining. Q: Can 7075 be welded? A: Not recommended. Prone to hot cracking and stress corrosion. Use mechanical fastening or adhesive bonding. If welding is required, use 2319 or 4043 filler wire.
