Overview
6060-T5 aluminum profile is a heat-treatable Al-Mg-Si alloy extrusion in the T5 temper (cooled from extrusion temperature and artificially aged). Known for excellent extrudability, corrosion resistance, and surface finishing performance, 6060-T5 is one of the most widely used aluminum profiles in construction, industrial, and decorative applications worldwide. Compared to 6061, 6060 has lower alloy content, making it easier to extrude complex cross-sections, thinner walls, and hollow profiles. The T5 temper provides a good balance of strength and cost, making it the most common temper for architectural and structural aluminum profiles.
