Description (English)

Shanghai Vertex Alloy Co., Ltd (Vertex Alloy) supplies 2507 super duplex stainless steel tube and pipe (UNS S32750 / EN 1.4410 X2CrNiMoN25-7-4 / forging grade F53; Chinese GB equivalent 022Cr25Ni7Mo4N, S25073). With ~25% Cr, 7% Ni, 4% Mo and 0.27% N in a balanced austenitic–ferritic structure, 2507 delivers PREN ≥41, critical pitting temperature above 50°C, critical crevice temperature ≥35°C, virtual immunity to chloride stress-corrosion cracking, and a yield strength ≥550 MPa — nearly double that of 316L — enabling thinner-wall, lighter high-pressure piping with good toughness down to −50°C. Seamless tube/pipe 6–219 mm OD and welded pipe up to 813 mm OD are supplied to ASTM A789/A790 (ASME SA789/SA790) and EN 10216-5/10217-7, solution annealed (1040–1120°C, water quench), NACE MR0175/ISO 15156-3 sour-service compliant, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates. Typical applications include offshore seawater and firewater systems, subsea flowlines and risers, SWRO desalination high-pressure piping, and chloride chemical-process heat exchangers.
