Overview
2011-T6 aluminum alloy round bar is a free-machining Al-Cu alloy containing lead (Pb) and bismuth (Bi) as chip-breaking elements. In the T6 temper (solution heat-treated and artificially aged), it offers the highest machinability rating of all aluminum alloys combined with good mechanical strength. 2011-T6 is the first choice for high-volume CNC and screw-machine products requiring tight tolerances and excellent surface finish.
